Nominate a Fellow

To be eligible for election as an Early Career, Associate of Full Fellow of the Academy, a nominee must be:

  • a full-time academic member of an institution of higher education, and

  • a resident of Hong Kong at the time of their election.

New Fellows must be nominated in writing by two Fellows of the Academy. Elected fellows are entitled to use the abbreviated designation FHKAH after their name.

Deadline

Nominations must be submitted by a date to be advised.

Nominate an Early Career Fellow

The HKAH Early Career Fellowship recognizes the research and leadership capacity of gifted early- to mid-career humanities scholars in Hong Kong and aims to develop future world-class scholars.

To be eligible for election as an Early Career Fellow of the Academy, a nominee must be an early- to mid-career scholar in the humanities who:

  • obtained their doctorate no less than 5 years and no more than 10 years before the time of election, and

  • hold a tenure-track or tenured position at a higher education or research institute in Hong Kong.
